The Essex dive Club pool is 6 metres deep 12 metres long and 9 metres wide, it is fully heated and filtered.
It has a platform at 1.5 metres at one end for trainees to learn basic skills such as mask clearing and regulator removal
before descending into the deep water. The 6m depth allows all sorts of skills which most dive clubs and schools can not carry
out properly in normally swimming pools. Buoyancy control, controlled swimming ascents and even SMB training are just a few
of the advantages our deep training pool has over other indoor sites.
